Pressus Maior is an international peer-reviewed online journal devoted to the study of medieval music in its manuscript, liturgical, and performative dimensions, with particular emphasis on the interaction between notation, form, space, and performance within their historical and cultural contexts.
The journal operates under a double-blind peer review system. All articles are published under a diamond open access model, without article processing charges.
Each published contribution receives a DOI. The journal is supported by an international Editorial and Scientific Board.
The journal publishes annually. Submissions are accepted in English.
